Coming Up

There are so many things coming up that I am excited for. I absolutely love Christmas and am so excited that Brynna is old enough this year to be excited to wake up and open gifts- already she loves the Christmas tree- and taking off the ornaments!'
Shawn graduates with his masters on December 17th and I am so proud of him! This year has been especially grueling for him so I am really excited that he will finally be done and able to relax!
On January 5th, my sister and I and both our husbands are going to Mexico to celebrate our husbands graduating (they graduate the same day) and I think Alycia is literally going to have a heart attach from excitement. She will randomly call me at work and scream that we are going to Mexico. This should be interesting!
Shawn and I are so blessed. We have amazing family all around us- I don't know what I would do without them, a gorgeous home, and a beautiful, healthy baby girl that makes us laugh everyday. I always have big hopes for each new year, wanting it to be just a little better than the last. So hopefully, next year will be spectacular!

Hallloween

We had the cutest little pink pirate for Halloween. She was so good and let me paint her nails (although it went against everything I believe in to paint them black). And of course, she loves putting on makeup so loved all the glitter on her eyes and cheeks. She only cried at the first 2 houses and then she figured out the candy thing and was off!

Even as a pirate she looked like a little angel

Her first stop trick-or-treating was Grandpa
This was the first house, cried walking all the way, and excited walking back to show me her candy

She was determined!
And then she was tuckered out and wanted to cuddle mommy. I was not complaining :o)

Busy Brynna

Our precious little girl definitely keeps us on our toes. She is the ultimate girly girl but loves dirt and being outside. She found the use of the word "no" and just recently she had her first little temper tantrum! But she also loves giving hugs and looks so freaking cute when she purses her lips to give kisses. And, I could not be prouder to say that she is just like her mama- she loves pickles! Yes pickles! She also loves to read- just like her mama too. We can't believe how much she has grown and how beautiful she is, and grows more so everyday. Anytime I am having a bad day and she smiles at me, my day gets immediately better. Shawn is such a great dad and can most usually be found getting down on the ground and playing with her (when he's not studying). I have the most perfect little family
Here are some pictures of our sweet princess

We got a new kitty, which Brynna loves. His name is Charlie and Brynna walks around shouting "Carlie! Carlie" when she wants to play with him. And when he doesn't want to play with her, she carries him around by the neck, as shown above
Her with Miss Sue getting her haircut. She does not really take to strangers, but she cuddled up to Sue right away- that's because we all love her!
I thought she would hate having to sit still and stuff coming at her. But once again, her girly girl came out! She thought she was all that is cool sitting in that chair looking at herself in the mirror

Lately......

We have been pretty crazy lately. Shawn is getting ready to start his last semester of his master's in August and took his CFA test in June, (which we get the results for next week!) For some reason, we decided to build a patio and finish our basement to add some more fun. I started a new job in March which I am loving- I love actually liking my job! Brynna is growing like a weed and coming up with something new to make us laugh everyday. We fall more and more in love with her everyday! Once Shawn finds out he passed the CFA, he can start applying for his "career" job, and we will finally know if we are moving! Which if we have to,I am hoping somewhere awesome like Boston or London. But who knows. These are just a couple pictures of lately :o)

I put her in a tutu and pigtails and she was loving it! She is seriously such a girly girl- when I put on makeup, she insists that she get some too. She loves purses and credit cards- I think I'm in trouble!

We found her like this one morning after she woke up. Apparently she was still tired, but not tired enough not to play :o)
Paul got a new dog Toffey. You can see them doing this at the patio door and the front door whenever they hear something outside. So flipping cute!
The patio before picture once we started construction. Hopefully, one day I will be able to post the after picture :o)
I think there is only two words for this. Stinking cute!
Grandma and Grandpa Doty bought her her very own chair. She loves it!
"Where's your belly?". She knows
Probably one of the cutest pictures I have of her and Grandpa Doty
Paul's birthday was in May. So we had some fun with his room
Okay, Shawn insisted on taking this very unflattering picture of me. But he knows how high maintenance I am and how much I hate nature, so was ridiculously shocked (and I think pleased) that I decided I wanted to plant flowers. I think he is still shocked
This was in the corner. She found the kleenex box. They were everywhere.

I am a Slacker

I know I have been a slacker lately. But here I go

Seriously, she is the freaking cutest things ever!! I just love that little face so much!

I am so in love with these bows. They are so stinkin' cute (no matter what my husband says) and the lady that makes them- wow. They are a little pricey, but it goes to such an amazing cause and they are so cute!

This was just hilarious. They both looked at us at the same time like, what?
This is Mose's new favorite thing. If she is on the floor he gets down on all fours to play. At least, we hope he wants to play.
She has had her first major bruise thanks to Aunt Alycia. She looked so pitiful with that bruise on her cheek! She was at Alycia's house trying to play with the banister and her hand slipped and she went face (or cheek) forward into it. Poor bubba!

Christmas Vacation

Okay, so this is really long and wayyyy overdue! But the day after Christmas, Shawn Brynna and I, my Mom and Dad and my sister Tricia and her girls climbed in our cars and drove to Florida for a week. It was so much fun! First day was The Kennedy Space Center, then Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and then Sea World. We are so glad that we went, it really was a blast!

Brynna is truly the perfect child! We drove for 2 days, and she cried once. The first day of driving, she cried right before we got to the hotel. That's it. She is so amazing!
Here she is with Grandma trying to drive her cart. Mom started reversing once and couldn't figure out why. Brynna was on her lap. She apparently felt the need to run over the people behind her

So here she is with The Grinch in Seussland at Islands of Adventure. She did not like him at all! Started screaming the second he looked at her. But he was an awesome Grinch!

She fell asleep in her cart on our shoppiong bags. So precious!

I don't know why we did this, other than it was Seussland- which is freaking awesome! I totally fell in love with it! Could have spent all day there

Grandpa and Brynna having fun!

She loves to cuddle with Grandpa.

Brynna was not a fan of all the characters, but I thought their costumes were awesome

The only ride that she could ride the whole trip was the carousel. And boy did she love it! She could not stop smiling and giggling the whole time.

So this is absolutely priceless. For Universal Studios Christmas parade, they actually own the balloons from the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade and that is what they use for theirs. So they were looking for volunteers to hold the stings. Greg and Shawn "volunteered". Which means we volunteered them :o)

That is hott Ginger!

Believe it or not, Brynna is actually under there somewhere!

Tricia was apparently trying to jump up on the car. I don't know either.

I was serioulsy scared of this guy. He was cool and everything with his costume. But he totally freaked me out

We had so much fun and about 1,000 more pictures, but I have bored you enough.
